We had a great weekend that started on Friday. Off to the movie we went, Monsters vs Aliens, with our friends and their kids. We enjoyed dinner in the theater with pizza, quesadillas, and LOTS of soda. It was a great evening. We spent Saturday shopping, one of our favorite things to do on the weekend and then Saturday evening we prepared for the Easter Bunny. We colored 36 eggs, 12 dozen for each child. Andrew got creative with his eggs and experimented with different colors, Josh kept to the basic colors, and can anyone guess what Sophia chose? No, not blue but PINK, that is correct. She only wanted pink. She would take each egg, drop it into the dye and stir and stir. Josh wore gloves the entire time and Andrew used one of the egg dippers.

Then after all of the hard work and preparation, the Easter Bunny made his appearance late on Saturday evening. Hiding all 36 eggs and bringing the kiddies some very useful items. Shoes for summer, movies, Domo for Andrew, Sponge Bob for Josh, and a purple ball for Sophia. The kiddies awoke at 8 for the egg search. Sophia was the most out spoken, hey where's my eggs and threw the carton down on the ground. She didn't understand that the Easter Bunny hid them. After explaining she needed to find them all three of them were off, by the end, she had the hang of it. We enjoyed blueberry pancakes for breakfast and after eating a huge breakfast Brandon and I were exhausted. We turned on Sophie's new Barbie movie and layed down for a nap. When we awoke we had discovered Sophia had been up to an Easter surprise, sitting in her bed peeling and eating her eggs. You don't even want to imagine the mess. We spent the rest of the day, preparing dinner for Grandma and Grandpa Williams, playing games and walking around the block. We had a great Easter Sunday. We missed out on church because we had stake conference, doesn't that mean it is a free day?! :) We missed our families during this special holiday and can't wait to see you soon!
