The doctor entered our room at a very low point during Andrew's day. I had left the hospital for a very short rest and Andrew panicked. He has been having a lot of panic attacks lately. Is is because of the accident or situation related when he has so many people expecting so much out of him. I am not sure, I just know that it is very difficult to watch. The doctor tried explaining how far he has come, everyone keeps telling him but he doesn't understand because he doesn't know what happened. After the explanation of what he needs to do to leave the hospital he asked Andrew where would he like to go? The zoo.. the Discovery Center.. no Andrew wanted to go to Walmart. Yes, after being in the hospital for a full three weeks Andrew wants his first outing to be Walmart. We went and got him a pair of shoes, he doesn't have any his were washed down the river, and some socks.. We had a great evening. We got back in time for everyone to start lining up at the door for his therapies, physical therapy, respratory therapy, his medication. He is a very busy little boy, no rest at the hospital. We have a true miracle boy. Once again, I will never be able to express how much gratitude I have for all of the sacrafices, gifts, texts, prayers, and fasting that we have received.
